Rod in the forest is a visual narrative that explores our perception of inhabitation through visualizing the unsensible barriers that mediates between human and environment.
The spaces around us are perceived in a nest way. The mediators between us and the environment are different for everyone. Both the physical quilt in the film and the film itself capture my own perception of the mediators, which is multiple layers and forms of soft fabrics.
